Our Story

For more than 50 years, Maui Gold® Pineapple Company has grown Hawaiʻi's famously sweet pineapples on the fertile slopes of Haleakalā at Hāliʻimaile Farms in Upcountry Maui. Nurtured by rich volcanic soil, abundant sunshine, and fresh mountain water, Maui Gold® pineapples are carefully cultivated and hand-harvested at peak ripeness to deliver exceptional sweetness, vibrant golden color, and a uniquely low-acid flavor.

Since 2023, Maui Gold® Pineapple Company has been owned and operated by Maui entrepreneur Todd Domeck, whose Hawaiʻi Farm Project family of brands is dedicated to preserving and celebrating Maui’s agricultural heritage through farming, agritourism, education, and locally made products.

As Maui’s last working commercial pineapple farm, Maui Gold® remains committed to sharing the island’s agricultural story while delivering world-famous fruit to customers across Hawaiʻi and the mainland. From our fields in Hāliʻimaile to homes nationwide, every pineapple is harvested with care and shipped fresh to ensure the highest quality experience.

Through the Maui Pineapple Tour, guests are invited behind the scenes to experience firsthand how Maui Gold® pineapples are planted, grown, harvested, and packed. More than a pineapple company, Maui Gold® is dedicated to cultivating meaningful connections to Maui’s land, people, and agricultural traditions while ensuring this iconic crop remains part of the island’s future for generations to come.
